Artist Mickie Caspi draws inspiration from both the Israeli and American design landscapes to create striking ketubahs that fuse traditional themes with clean, contemporary illustration. Caspi’s signature style blends Persian illumination, art deco motifs, and intricate botanical watercolors inspired by her own garden in Newton, Massachusetts. The Tree of Life Ketubah showcases all the soft vibrancy of watercolor and the subtle glitter of gold leaf. In the center, a lush tree is laden with fruit on a gorgeous green field, displaying the words, “I have found the one in whom my soul delights." Above, stars twinkle with gold leaf accents on a purple and blue sky. Brushstrokes and layers of pigment create a unique and artistic scalloped border, lending contrast and color to the crisp text within.
