Kolbo Fine Judaica Gallery has been in business since 1978, growing and evolving to meet the needs and interests of a richly diverse clientele. We collaborate with dozens of artists and vendors in the US, Israel, and other parts of the world. We are real people in a real store and enjoy working with you to ensure that your shopping needs are met, both before and after a sale, and that your experience is satisfying.
We can be reached by phone (800) 238-8743 during business hours or by email customerservice@kolbo.com. Our small, dedicated staff looks forward to working with you, will respond promptly, and strive to make your interactions with us both pleasant and satisfying.
There are several ways to search our website. Every page has a search box in the top right. You can search by artist name, type of item, holiday, occasion, SKU number, or artist. Starting on the home page, you may also explore the various categories until you find what you want. You can also use the site index link at the bottom of every page.
We make every effort to have accurate, up-to-date information about items, pricing, and availability. Sometimes an item is out of stock or back ordered. We will provide realistic information about delivery times for special orders or out of stock items. Many of our items come from Israel and other countries and may take additional time to receive. We will contact you by phone or email if an item you order is likely to experience an unexpected delay.
We do not charge any sales tax for items shipped to an address outside of Massachusetts. We do not charge any sales tax at all for items deemed to be religious objects under Massachusetts law. We do not charge sales tax for clothing items (e.g. talitot) priced under $175. In store purchases that are picked up, purchases shipped to an address in Massachusetts, and the price of clothing items that exceed $175, are all subject to the Massachusetts sales tax of 6.25%.
Most items are shipped by UPS Ground Service or by USPS. Delivery generally takes between 2 and 7 days. International shipments generally travel via the U.S. Postal Service and take 7-14 days. Expedited shipping is available for an additional fee. If delivery time is important, we encourage you to call us (800) 238-8743 to discuss options and confirm availability and shipping time. If you provide an email address at the time of your order, we will send you a tracking number when an item ships. Oversized items, such as framed artwork, generally require a higher shipping cost due to oversize package requirements.
Creating a registry ensures you receive the gifts you want. It saves you from returning gifts or feeling obliged to keep ones that you may not need. Just click here to get started. Feel free to call us at (800) 238-8743 or visit our store for our expert assistance. Family and friends can view your registry and make a purchase online or by coming into the store if they are local. Our staff is happy to assist you and those looking for the perfect gift for you. You may edit your registry at any time.
You may specify “ship to” addresses both before and after your celebration. The registry will remain active and online for 12 months after your simcha unless you choose to cancel it sooner.
Most items being shipped can be packaged in a tasteful gift box with a bow for an additional fee of $5.00. We are also happy to include a handwritten gift note with your shipment.
We constantly receive hundreds of boxes and countless pounds of packing peanuts, bubble wrap, and wrapping paper with all the items we receive from around the world. We are committed to saving and reusing as much of that packing material as possible. What we can’t reuse, we recycle. As such, your shipment may come in a pre-used outer box with multi-color peanuts and Israeli newspapers. Note, however, that the gift boxes we use are always new. We include a note with all our shipments explaining our Reuse and Recycle philosophy. If it is important for your shipment to travel in all-new packaging, just let us know in the comment box at checkout.
We believe our return and exchange policy is one of the most consumer-friendly policies among all web stores. We want you to be happy with your purchases. If, for any reason, you are not, we will discuss with you how we can make it right. Since we are not a megastore, we unfortunately cannot afford to ship for free, but we will make every effort to make our shipping costs very reasonable and competitive.
