Mi Sheberach, Hebrew and English, Mini, Hand-Painted, Framed

This sweet work of art is small in size but big on charm. Using a centuries-old technique of hand-colored engraving, artist Karla Gudeon hand-pulls a print for each image from the metal plate she has incised with her line drawing. She then uses watercolor to paint each one in loving detail on handmade paper. This piece features a songbird atop a branch covered in pink and purple blossoms, as well as the words “Mi shebeirach refuat hanefesh v’refuat haguf” in Hebrew, for healing of both the soul and the body.
