Based on Robert McCloskey's classic picture book, Lentil, Nancy Schon's dynamic bronze sculpture captures the playfulness of youth, with Lentil's harmonica and dog in tow. This Bostonian artist has used bronze for decades to capture tales of nature, youth, and Judaism. McCloskey also authored Make Way for Ducklings, the subject of Schon's best-known work in the Boston Common. This sculpture is placed on a rotating marble base, to be displayed at any angle.
