Ayala Ben-David created expressive, vibrant works of art inspired by her life on a kibbutz in the Negev desert in the South of Israel. Her work often plays with contrast and symbolism, texture and realism. The Inspired by Chagall ketubah is alive with saturated color and tells a visual love story inspired by Chagall’s iconic figures. A Shabbat table is elegantly set, while outside the window, the moon and stars shine brightly. This design is accented by the phrase, “Ani l’dodi v’dodi li," “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine".
