Since 1976, artist Miriam Karp has been creating vibrant, unique ketubahs. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Indiana University in Bloomington and has been awarded two National Endowment for the Arts awards for her paintings. Author Anita Diamant featured Karp in her book, The New Jewish Wedding. You can find her artwork in private and public collections in the U.S. and abroad. The Chagall Ketubah is beautifully executed in the style of artist Marc Chagall, whose figures and symbols of Jewish life continue to inspire contemporary artists today. The imagery of the bride and groom, the wedding canopy, dancing guests and the celebrating fiddler create a mood of festivity and joy. Delicate detail and a beautiful deep jade color combine to make this ketubah entrancing and engaging.
