Karla Gudeon, a former teacher, came to her art career later in life when she chose to pursue her passion for hand-colored engraving and watercolor. Karla is inspired by illuminated manuscripts and folk art, and artistically portrays her own core values: family, culture, strong women, an open-minded world view, and the natural world. The Blossoms II Ketubah combines a modern square silhouette and a graceful round inner frame in this beautiful and unique design. Boughs of cream-colored blossoms take on a graphic, contemporary feel when accented by pale blue borders. Below the text, two birds nestle together, symbolizing the love and tenderness of the married couple.
