Danny Azoulay is a Jerusalem artist with a passion for creating high-design papercut ketubahs that both honor the past and carry meaning and tradition into the future. He calls the ketubah “a couple’s first family heirloom" and is mindful of this responsibility as he creates beautiful, architectural pieces to grace the home for years to come. This ketubah is brimming with movement and texture. Sprays of green foliage part to reveal tropical flowers and exotic birds. The soft, bright colors contrast with the graphic patterns and geometric lace border. At the base of the design reads the Hebrew text of the exuberant wedding song, “It will yet be heard in the in the cities of Judah and the streets of Jerusalem: the sound of joy and the sound of happiness, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride."
