Since 1976, artist Miriam Karp has been creating vibrant, unique ketubahs. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Indiana University in Bloomington and has been awarded two National Endowment for the Arts awards for her paintings. Author Anita Diamant featured Karp in her book, The New Jewish Wedding. You can find her artwork in private and public collections in the U.S. and abroad. The Seven Species Ketubah features a gorgeous watercolor border meandering around the center text. Plants and botanicals native to Israel are depicted on a sky-blue background in a riot of color and natural beauty. At the top, two trees intertwine to become one, a fitting and meaningful symbol for a fruitful and harmonious partnership.
