This striking, framed print highlights the Hebrew words, “Modeh Ani” underneath the English translation, “I give thanks.” This simple, powerful composition is a visceral reminder of the blessing of gratitude each morning and every day. When the day begins with appreciation, it sets the tone for positivity. The design, in black and tan, depicts two hands in an open, welcoming gesture, as though soaking in the glory of nature’s creations. A mandela-like floral hovers above the palms. Additional flowers, leaves, butterflies and birds dance about in a symphony of flora and fauna. The Israeli born artist takes traditional Judaic symbols and infuses them with contemporary illustrations.
