Since 1976, artist Miriam Karp has been creating vibrant, unique ketubahs. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Indiana University in Bloomington and has been awarded two National Endowment for the Arts awards for her paintings. Author Anita Diamant featured Karp in her book, The New Jewish Wedding. You can find her artwork in private and public collections in the U.S. and abroad. The Intertwining Tree Ketubah embraces the symbolism of two intertwining trees, rendering this meaningful motif in the bright, fresh colors of Spring. The two trunks twist tenderly together until their branches, leaves, and blossoms form a single canopy, much like the chuppah and the home that the couple will build together. This simple yet emotional design highlights the text of the ketubah on a crisp white background.
