Artist Mickie Caspi draws inspiration from both the Israeli and American design landscapes to create striking ketubahs that fuse traditional themes with clean, contemporary illustration. Caspi’s signature style blends Persian illumination, art deco motifs, and intricate botanical watercolors inspired by her own garden in Newton, Massachusetts. This lovely design features four graceful trees, one for each season of the year, representing commitment and the many seasons that the couple will live together. A green border, embellished with watercolor leaves and swirls, grounds this piece, and draws attention to the phrases within, “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine," “You and I in joy and happiness," “I will betroth you to me forever," and “I have found the one in whom my soul delights" in joyous and stylized text.
