Artist Mickie Caspi draws inspiration from both the Israeli and American design landscapes to create striking ketubahs that fuse traditional themes with clean, contemporary illustration. Caspi’s signature style blends Persian illumination, art deco motifs, and intricate botanical watercolors inspired by her own garden in Newton, Massachusetts. Inspired by the traditional enameling technique, cloisonne, this ketubah shines with detailed motifs rendered in vibrant color. Twining vines and blossoms create a robust border featuring intricate Stars of David and watercolor green scrollwork. A ribbon-like border in deep red and gold filigree surrounds the text and lends an air of celebration and royalty to the piece, perfectly suited to the joy and celebration of a Jewish wedding.
