Mezuzah, Tree of Life Design, Resin on Stainless Steel with Crystals

This mezuzah spans the distance from the heavens to earth. The primary element of this piece is the tree of life, crowned with Swarovski crystals and anchored by roots reaching to the bottom of the mezuzah. The tree of life is a prominent symbol in Judaism, representing the study of Torah as well as the roots of Jewish heritage. This artist uses an eclectic mix of materials that catches the eye. Beads, crystals, glass, and small patterned bands of metal are all enclosed under a protective layer of resin and arranged tastefully within the steel frame. The brass tube with rubber stoppers on the back provides a safe place for the claf.
