Artist Mickie Caspi draws inspiration from both the Israeli and American design landscapes to create striking ketubahs that fuse traditional themes with clean, contemporary illustration. Caspi’s signature style blends Persian illumination, art deco motifs, and intricate botanical watercolors inspired by her own garden in Newton, Massachusetts. This ketubah is a gorgeous example of her crisp and vibrant style, showcasing an illuminated square border accented by a subtle gold filigree edging. Twining vines surround delicate flowers in red and blue, keeping the eye moving around the piece and providing a beautiful complement to the text inside. This design represents the strong ties of love (“Ahava") that bind two people together, to grow as one from this day forward.
