Love Wins, Rainbow Bird Heart, Mini, Hand-Painted, Framed

This sweet work of art is small in size but carries a big message. Using a centuries-old technique of hand-colored engraving, artist Karla Gudeon hand-pulls a print for each image from a metal plate she has incised with her line drawing. She then uses watercolor to paint each one in loving detail on handmade paper. This piece features a row of birds, feathers of colors of the rainbow, sitting along an arrow and wreathed by a heart. Music notes and blue and purple flowers further decorate the space, and the words “Love Wins” are written along the bottom of the piece.
