Add a pop of whimsical floral color to your next Chanukah get-together with this unique aluminum dreidel. Long before the advent of modern tabletop gaming, the dreidel is the ancient Israelite way to roll a "D4." Each petal of this artful dreidel has a cutout of a cursive Hebrew letter: Nun, Gimmel, Hey, and Pey/Shin, standing for "Nes Gadol Haya Poh/Sham, a great miracle happened (t)here." Dreidels used in modern Israel often have the letter Pey for "poh, here," while diasporic dreidels have Shin for "sham, there." The cursive font on this dreidel leaves the final letter slightly ambiguous.
