Artist Howard Fox of Carkor, Israel, is originally from Canada and invites his diverse life experiences to inspire and inform his work. Fox is known for a unique artistic style that he calls "Fiction" — the weaving of realism and imagination. This intricate and arresting style is evident in all his work, including his collection of distinctive ketubahs. The Traditions Ketubah is equal parts art piece and ritual ketubah, featuring a Marc Chagall-inspired scene. A bride and groom stand together in a sea of blue, attended by a dove of peace and a fiddler. Below, a small village nestles into the countryside and a chuppah stands ready for their union. Soft, flowering trees complete this scene and add to the dream-like beauty of this lovely piece.
