Artist Stephanie Caplan grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and currently lives in the East Village of New York. She draws on the energy of the city, as well as her academic background in Judaism and art history, to create ketubahs that combine art and ritual in new and surprising ways. The Papers Ketubah combines texture and form, pairing layers of woodgrain and cork with the delicate and graceful lines of the ketubah calligraphy. Caplan uses white space to beautiful effect, allowing the text to breathe and bringing a modern minimalism to the piece. The rich wood tones and inviting texture will be a warm and timeless accent in your home for many years to come.
