11:00 am – 12:30 pm – Create an Illumination with Artist Debra Band
Make your own illuminated text with exceptional artist Debra Band. An illuminated text is one which is decorated with small illustrations, border designs and/or calligraphy.
11:00 am – 1:45 pm – Artist Pop Up with Tamaryn Design
Local artist Tamaryn Design will be talking about and selling her ethically sourced scarves made with sustainably produced fabric, a great Chanukah gift!
12:30 pm – 1:30 pm – Honorable Menschen A Cappella Performance
Pull up a seat for a musical performance by Honorable Menschen, one of Boston’s premiere post-collegiate Jewish a cappella groups, widely acclaimed for its unique blend of Jewish, Israeli, and world musical repertoire.
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Personalized Calligraphy by Mickie Caspi
The party continues with celebrated local artist Mickie Caspi personalizing art for your family. These family signs are exclusive to this event and make a wonderful addition to your home or a thoughtful gift for a wedding or a new family.
2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – Demonstration by Make Way for Ducklings Sculptor Nancy Schön
World-renowned sculptor, Nancy Schön, will be demonstrating the process of wax molding and casting bronze. She has created public works of art around the world and is famous for her Make Way for Ducklings sculpture in the Boston Public Gardens.
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Kol Echad A Cappella Performance
Kol Echad, otherwise known as simply “KE,” is another of Boston’s premier Jewish a cappella groups. Composed of Boston University students, this group delivers a musical experience that mixes contemporary Israeli and Jewish tunes with the ever-popular collegiate a cappella sound.
