Waiting for a Friend, sculpture, bronze on marble, 7”
Description
7" bronze sculpture on marble base
number 7/edition of 24.
"The artist is often inspired by what she observes and what those observations say to her. This piece emanates from seeing a woman sitting alone on a bench and wondering who she is, whether she is happy or sad, and for whom she is waiting."
Nancy Schön is an internationally renowned sculptor, most well known for her celebrated Make Way for Ducklings in the Boston Public Garden.
