Artist's description: "In order to make a telephone call at a public booth, you needed at least one and often several asseenim (telephone tokens). Everyone was always searching for one. The tokens were purchased only at the Post Office, which it seemed to me was open at odd and inconvenient hours. If you needed to make a phone call at night you might find yourself in big trouble."
