Reflective Giraffe Family, sculpture, bronze on marble, 18”

Product Detail

Product SKU: 24023

Author / Artist: Schon, Nancy

18" bronze sculpture on marble base.

"The sculptor’s husband was quite tall and thought of himself as a giraffe.  As a result, she had fun creating families of giraffes.  This piece depicts a loving family interacting with each other. The 'reflective' aspect of this piece relates to her husband’s work and renowned book entitled, 'The Reflective Practitioner.'"

Nancy Schön is an internationally renowned sculptor, most well known for her celebrated Make Way for Ducklings in the Boston Public Garden.
