Untitled - Red, Ketubah
A more traditional approach to composition and traditional materials combine to create an “Old World” design. A combination of lions and the rising sun, popular symbols in Persia during the 1800s, the text is framed by quatrefoils, leaves, and pitchers. The Hebrew words are from the song “Od Yeshoma”: “...the voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the groom and the voice of the bride...” Two lions and a crown adorn the chuppah, framing the text 16” x 24"
