In Safe Hands Ketubah

In Safe Hands Ketubah

Karla Gudeon, a former teacher, came to her art career later in life when she chose to pursue her passion for hand-colored engraving and watercolor. Karla is inspired by illuminated manuscripts and folk art, and artistically portrays her own core values: family, culture, strong women, an open-minded world view, and the natural world. The In Safe Hands Ketubah is a gorgeous and unique design from Karla Gudeon, utilizing a repetitive background motif that gives the impression of beautiful vintage wallpaper. In each medallion, flowering vines intertwine to create a hamsa, a traditional icon of protection and good luck. This motif is repeated as a frame around the ketubah text, in shades of turquoise and navy blue. This ketubah design represents all of the good wishes and blessings bestowed upon the couple for a long and happy life together.
