This gorgeous necklace is made of tiny black glass beads with onyx rondelles, which are highlighted by a malachite stone. Hand-beaded with an eye toward the details of color, the green malachite stands out beautifully in contrast to the black onyx. Archaeological finds suggest that malachite has been mined in the Timna Valley in southern Israel for more than 3,000 years as part of the process of copper mining. This beautiful crystal is believed to offer the wearer balance and a fresh start. This necklace is perfect for everyday wear, and makes a thoughtful birthday present. This piece was created by an east coast-based, multi-talented artist who is also an accomplished pianist.
